Chrome Store

For the past few years all the rage has been concerning apps, sometimes it seems there is an app for everything. I am not saying that this is a bad thing, but what about the people who do not have smart phones and tablets. Well Google has an answer for that; it is called the Chrome Web Store. The chrome web store has a collection of apps that does not require a smart phone or other expensive equipment to run. The only requirement is the chrome browser, which can be downloaded for free at https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/.

The store features everything from educational resources to various utility packages. One cool app that you can check out is The Bio Digital Human, a customizable 3D human frame.  Instead of telling your students about the respiratory system, show them in 3D imagery.  Let them explore on their own and quiz themselves with the built in quiz system.  Check it out at https://www.biodigitalhuman.com/.

This and much more can be found at the Chrome Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/app/95-academic-resources?hl=en)
