Technology for the Educator

Today I would like to highlight an app called Popplet and a website called Poppletrocks! Popplet is a mind mapping app that allows you to organize ideas and manage a variety of projects. Paul Hamilton, at edublogs (http://paulhami.edublogs.org/2012/06/11/popple-for-mind-mapping-sharing-and-presenting/), writes a wonderful overview of the app. He includes on his blog a wonderful video tutorial from iPadagogy.

Poppletrocks (http://blog.popplet.com/category/popplets-in-education/) is a website devoted to Popplet. There are a number of Popplet techniques and examples of how teachers are using this app in the classroom. It is worth your time to check out Popplet and Poppletrocks!
